The invention relates to a device for transversely moving a turnout by adopting hydraulic synchronous control equipment and a construction method. Comprising a supporting pier, a turnout lifting device, a walking rail, a limiting stopper, a common roller, a transverse moving power roller, a control system, a hydraulic oil pump and monitoring and measuring equipment. The supporting piers are divided into a plurality of groups, the running rails are installed between each group of supporting piers, the limiting stoppers are installed at one ends of the running rails, the turnout lifting devices are installed on the side faces of the running rails, the common rolling wheels and the transverse moving power rolling wheels are installed on the running rails, at least one transverse moving power rolling wheel is installed on every two adjacent running rails, and the limiting stoppers are installed on the side faces of the running rails. The transverse moving power roller is installed at the front driving position of the walking rail, the hydraulic oil pump is connected with the control system and the transverse moving power roller through oil pipes, and the monitoring and measuring device is in circuit connection with the control system. The method has a good application prospect in turnout transverse movement construction.
