The invention discloses a construction method of an assembled planting lawn roof. The construction method comprises the following steps: providing a roof layer structural plate; waterproof layer construction is conducted on the roof layer structural plate, and waterproof paint or waterproof coiled materials are adopted; performing a water storage test; positioning drainage ditches; a heat preservation and insulation layer is constructed on the waterproof layer, and steam exhaust seams are reserved; a protective layer is constructed on the heat preservation and insulation layer; a drainage plate and/or a water storage plate are/is placed on the protection layer, and the position of the drainage ditch is avoided; a grating plate is laid on the drainage plate and/or the water storage plate, and glass fiber grid isolation cloth is laid on the surface of the grating plate; filling the planting soil on the glass fiber grid isolation cloth, flattening a soil body, and scattering plant turf seeds; covering the surface of the soil body with a layer of grating plate, and scattering a thin soil layer on the grating plate to cover the seeds; a traditional slope making layer is abandoned, material consumption is reduced, the drainage plate and/or the water storage plate are/is directly used as the drainage layer and/or the water storage layer, additional construction is not needed, and the effect of puncturing the waterproof layer to prevent plant root systems from penetrating can be achieved.
