The invention discloses a method for arranging an artemisia desertorum live sand barrier on a moving dune. The method comprises the following steps: A, flatly stacking cleaned wheat straw on the moving dune required to be paved along drawn grid lines; b, a square shovel is used for folding and pressing the middle of the placed wheat straw, and laying of the wheat straw grid sand barrier is completed; c, seeds of the artemisia desertorum are evenly sown on the surface of the soil in the wheat straw grid sand barriers; and D, forming the artemisia desertorum live sand barrier after the vegetation artemisia desertorum grows. According to the method, the sand stabilization time can be prolonged, a favorable environment is provided for subsequent sand stabilization plants, and the method is simple, easy to operate, economical, practical, high in survival rate, long in validity period, natural, environmentally friendly and free of secondary pollution.
