The mining filling material is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 80 to 120 parts of gypsum, 8 to 12 parts of cement, 0.02 to 0.08 part of an efficient super plasticizer, 0.03 to 0.07 part of an expanding agent, 0.01 to 0.07 part of a retarder, 6 to 15 parts of fly ash, 6 to 10 parts of carbide slag and 15 to 45 parts of a compound, and the compound is formed by compounding nano silicon dioxide and Na-montmorillonite; the preparation method comprises the following steps: uniformly mixing the gypsum, the cement, the efficient super plasticizer, the expanding agent, the retarder, the fly ash, the carbide slag and the compound, and crushing to obtain the mining filling material. The mining filling material disclosed by the invention has the advantage of improving the compressive strength of the mining filling material through the synergistic effect of the raw materials.
