The invention belongs to preparation of ceramsite from sludge, and particularly relates to a method for preparing ceramsite from sludge incineration slag, and the method specifically comprises the following steps: step 1, preparing water-containing sludge, slag, clay, fly ash, ferric oxide and zeolite, and drying to constant weight; crushing and sieving to obtain sludge powder, slag powder, clay powder, fly ash powder, ferric oxide powder and zeolite powder; 2, 50-60 parts of the sludge powder, 60-75 parts of the slag powder, 80-100 parts of the clay powder, 20-25 parts of the fly ash powder, 10-20 parts of the ferric oxide powder and 10-20 parts of the zeolite powder are weighed respectively, water is added for mixing till the mixture is wet, extrusion forming is conducted, then drying and calcining are conducted, and the ceramsite is obtained. According to the method for preparing the ceramsite by using the sludge incineration slag, the zeolite is placed in the raw materials, so that the zeolite and the clay interact with each other and cooperate with the clay to fluxing the raw materials such as the sludge, and the proportion of the ceramsite prepared from the sludge is conveniently improved.
