The molecular sieve membrane supporting body comprises, by weight, 400-800 parts of alumina powder, 100-150 parts of a silicon compound, 70-150 parts of a plasticizer, 30-50 parts of a binder, 30-50 parts of a pore forming agent and 20-40 parts of a lubricant, the alumina powder is selected from one or more of white corundum, alpha alumina and aluminum hydroxide, the average particle size of the alumina powder is 4-10 [mu] m, and the average particle size of the alumina powder is 1-10 [mu] m. The silicon compound is silicon oxide, the average particle size of the silicon compound is 4-10 [mu] m, and the lubricant is grease such as glycerol and tung oil. By means of the preparation method, the porosity, hardness and smoothness of the molecular film supporting body are effectively improved, the preparation process is simple, and the cost is low.
