A composite floor and a construction method thereof relate to the field of buildings. A composite floor comprises a concrete bottom plate, a concrete rib plate and stiffening ribs. The stiffening ribs comprise a left rib located on the left side and a right rib located on the right side, the left rib is provided with a left-right through first hole, and the right rib is provided with a left-right through second hole; the part, located between every two adjacent first open holes, of the left rib serves as a first connecting column, and the part, located between every two adjacent second open holes, of the right rib serves as a second connecting column. The tops of the left rib and the right rib are inserted into the concrete rib plate, and the bottoms of the left rib and the right rib are inserted into the concrete bottom plate; the distance between the left rib and the right rib is gradually increased from the concrete rib plate to the concrete bottom plate; and a gap is formed between the concrete bottom plate and the concrete rib plate, so that the first opening and the second opening are partially or completely exposed. According to the invention, pipelines are convenient to arrange.
