The invention discloses a hoisting assembly and a hoisting method for a cross-sea bridge steel box girder, the hoisting assembly is provided with two groups, each group of hoisting assembly comprises a hoisting beam main body part, a rope wheel group and a hoisting part, and the hoisting beam main body part, the rope wheel group and the hoisting part are correspondingly arranged according to the distance between hoisting buckles and the distance between U-shaped ribs in a hull structure; the influence of the relative positions of webs in steel box girders of different specifications on the specification of the lifting beam main body part is avoided, the lifting clasp can be suitable for the mounting positions of diaphragm plates on the steel box girders of different specifications, the applicability of the lifting assembly is improved, meanwhile, integral lifting directly through a complete steel rope is avoided, the disassembly and assembly difficulty is reduced, and the stability of the lifting process is improved; and when the hoisting assembly needs to be disassembled and assembled, only the hoisting end and the hoisting buckle on the hoisting beam main body part need to be operated, so that the disassembling and assembling difficulty is reduced, and the hoisting operation efficiency is improved.
