The production process comprises the following steps: burdening, grinding, sieving, mixing, pelletizing, drying, roasting and cooling. According to the method, pores left by thermal decomposition of the pore-forming agent in the high-temperature reaction process are used for puffing pore-forming, the carbon content in the coal slime reduces the excessive consumption of fuel, the pore structure of the green body is improved, and the ceramsite with rough surface, rich pore structure and different sizes of closed pores is produced under the combined action of the spontaneous combustion coal gangue and the pore-forming agent stearic acid. The production process is simple, the cost is low, a large amount of coal-based solid waste is consumed, the ceramsite stacking density is low, the cylinder compressive strength is high, and development of local prefabricated buildings can be promoted.
