The invention relates to a high-strength stone-like water permeable brick and a preparation method thereof. The water permeable brick comprises a base material and a stone-like layer fabric, wherein the base material comprises cement, 8-11 mm broken stone, 10-15 mm broken stone, 15-30 mm broken stone, mineral powder, a reinforcing agent, a fiber stabilizer and water; the surface material comprises natural stone, cement, a reinforcing agent, a fiber stabilizer and water; wherein the reinforcing agent comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 14-18% of cellulose ether, 9-13% of redispersible latex powder, 9-13% of silica powder, 6-8% of a water reducing agent, 18-22% of quartz sand, 18-22% of quartz powder and 14-16% of fly ash; the fiber stabilizer comprises coconut fiber and dandelion fiber; the particle size of the quartz sand is 300-500 meshes; and the particle size of the quartz powder is 800-1000 meshes. The stone-like permeable brick has the effects of improving stone-like lines of the stone-like permeable brick and improving the strength performance of the permeable brick.
