The invention relates to the technical field of building materials, in particular to a high-strength stone-surface-imitating ceramic water permeable brick and a preparation method thereof. In order to reduce the production cost, a solid waste raw material is used as a main component raw material of the water permeable brick, the production cost of the ceramic water permeable brick is reduced, old soda-lime glass micro powder with a lower melting point is added as a high-temperature bonding material, and the surface of blast furnace slag is conveniently wrapped by the old soda-lime glass micro powder through infiltration of the old soda-lime glass micro powder on a ridge material; while the high-strength water permeable brick is formed, the dissolution of heavy metal elements in the blast furnace slag is avoided; in addition, the surfaces of ridge materials such as waste ceramic micro powder in the raw materials are modified, so that the rate of defective goods caused by firing is further reduced; on the basis, a self-cleaning layer is further prepared on the surface of the water permeable brick, nano silicon dioxide is loaded and sintered, the nano silicon dioxide is converted into anatase type nano silicon dioxide with high catalytic activity, the photocatalytic efficiency is improved, and degradation of the water permeable brick on organic pollutants is enhanced.
