The invention relates to a buffer mechanism which comprises a guide part and a buffer part, the guide part is provided with a first end and a second end which are opposite, the first end is used for being connected with a first body, the second end is used for being movably matched with a second body, and the second body can rotate relative to the first body; the buffer piece is movably arranged on the guide piece; in the process that the second body rotates relative to the first body, the two ends of the buffering piece are used for directly or indirectly acting with the first body and the second body, and therefore the relative rotation speed of the second body and the first body is reduced. Through the buffering effect of the buffering piece, the first body and the second body are not prone to generating noise due to sharp collision, and the fingers of a user are not prone to being bruised. The invention further discloses an oven which comprises the buffering mechanism. Similarly, when the upper cover of the oven is closed downwards, the oven is not prone to generating noise due to sharp collision, and fingers of a user are not prone to being crushed.
