The invention discloses a pouring formwork system for a high-rise building settlement joint shear wall and a construction method. The system comprises a steel plate assembly (1). The thickness adjusting mechanism (2) is used for adjusting the thickness of the inner formwork composed of the steel plate assemblies (1) and comprises a left side connecting rod (208) and a right side connecting rod (201) which are arranged between the steel plate assemblies (1), sliding grooves (202) symmetrically formed in the two ends of the left side connecting rod (208) and the two ends of the right side connecting rod (201), and a first connecting rod (204) and a second connecting rod (205) which are slidably connected with the sliding grooves (202) in the left side and the right side through sliding blocks (203) correspondingly; the first connecting rod (204) and the second connecting rod (205) are respectively connected with the rotary connecting shaft (206); the thickness positioning mechanism (3) is used for preventing the thickness adjusting mechanism (2) from being pressed and retracted; and the outer template (6) is used for defining the outer side surface of the pouring cavity. By means of the system, self-adaptive adjustment and precision control over the high-rise building settlement joint shear wall formwork are achieved.
