The invention relates to an arch rib side section rotation and middle section suspension installation construction method. An arch rib is divided into two side sections and a middle section; edge section and middle section arch rib assembling supports are erected respectively, and meanwhile edge section vertical rotating systems are installed on the skewbacks; the side section arch ribs and the middle section arch ribs are synchronously assembled on the support, after the side section arch ribs are assembled, a hoisting scaffold system is installed at the front ends of the side section arch ribs, and stress point positions are reinforced; after the arch ribs on the two side sections are rotated in place, the middle section of the arch rib is lifted through the scaffold to be closed with the two side sections. Compared with an existing construction method, the construction method is short in construction period, high in safety and low in cost.
