Water jet and grinding wheel composite efficient steel rail grinding system and method
The invention discloses a water jet and grinding wheel composite efficient steel rail grinding system and method. The system comprises a grinding wagon, a water jet grinding unit, a sweeping unit, a grinding wheel grinding unit, an atomization generation unit, a control unit and a detection unit. The control unit receives the steel rail surface image information collected by the detection unit, generates a grinding control instruction, controls the water jet grinding unit to preliminarily grind the damaged part after the grinding wagon travels to a to-be-ground area, and stops grinding when the total grinding amount is 5%-10%; the follow-up cleaning unit blows out high-pressure air to blow off abrasive particles attached to the steel rail; the grinding wheel grinding unit conducts precise grinding on the remaining grinding amount, and the atomization unit sprays out water mist to cool the end face of the ground steel rail. According to the grinding system, preliminary grinding is conducted through the water jet grinding unit, a certain residual grinding amount is reserved, excessive grinding is avoided, and the residual grinding amount can be repaired through single-time precise grinding of the grinding wheel grinding unit.
