The invention provides low-heat high-crack-resistance large-volume radiation-proof concrete and a preparation method thereof, and mainly relates to the technical field of concrete. The low-heat high-crack-resistance large-volume radiation-proof concrete comprises the following components in parts by weight: 200-250 parts of low-heat crack-resistance cement; 80 to 140 parts of mineral admixture; 25-30 parts of an expanding agent; 3-4 parts of borax; 1000 to 1090 parts of coarse aggregate; 780 to 860 parts of fine aggregate; 5-10 parts of an additive; and 145 to 160 parts of water. According to the invention, low-heat cement and fly ash are adopted as a new cementing material system, so that early hydration heat release and hydration heat release rate are reduced, early stability of concrete is improved, and early temperature rise of an anti-radiation large-volume structure is effectively reduced under the condition that a cooling water pipe is not allowed to be pre-buried; and the early cracking risk caused by the temperature is reduced.
