The invention discloses an automobile door hinge with a limiting stopper for an automobile. The hinge device comprises a first hinge bracket (10) fixed on one side of a vehicle body side and a vehicle door side, a second hinge bracket (20) fixed on the other side, a hinge pin (21) which rotatably supports the two brackets (10) and (20) and has a substantially oblong cross section, and a housing (11) which covers the periphery of the hinge pin (21) and rotates together with the first hinge bracket (10). The hinge pin (21) rotatably supports the first hinge bracket (10) at a position eccentric from the center of the long axis of the cross section, and is fixed to the second hinge bracket (20). A pair of restricting rollers (23), which are disposed at both ends of the hinge pin (21) on the long axis of the cross section and are biased by a spring (24), are fitted into one of locking recesses (11a-11c) provided on the inner peripheral surface of the housing (11), thereby maintaining the door at a predetermined opening position.
