The invention relates to an electric pole auxiliary installation device and method. The device comprises a transport vehicle; the lifting platform is arranged on the transport vehicle, and the lifting platform can be adjusted in a lifting mode; the overturning table is arranged on the lifting table in an overturning mode, and the overturning table can be adjusted to be in a vertical state in an overturning mode; and the clamp is arranged on the overturning table, the clamp is provided with at least one pair of clamping plates, the clamping distance between the pair of clamping plates is adjustable, the pair of clamping plates can clamp an electric pole to be installed by adjusting the clamping distance, and then the electric pole is installed in an auxiliary mode in cooperation with overturning adjustment of the overturning table and lifting adjustment of the lifting table. The device can assist in installation of the electric pole, the electric pole does not need to be hoisted in the whole installation process, the high-voltage cable can be prevented from being damaged, the transport vehicle, the overturning table, the lifting table and other structures are all far away from the high-voltage cable, electric arcs caused by approaching to high voltage can be avoided, and operation safety is ensured.
