The invention discloses an electric tail gate control method and an electric tail gate control system.The electric tail gate control method comprises the steps that (a) when a vehicle battery outputs current in the first direction to a driving motor through a driving circuit, the driving motor is allowed to drive a tail gate to be switched from a door closing state to a door opening state; (b) when the vehicle battery outputs current in the second direction to the driving motor through the driving circuit, allowing the driving motor to drive the tail door to switch from the door opening state to the door closing state; (c) when the vehicle battery does not output current to the driving motor through the driving circuit, the tail door switching from the door opening state to the door closing state drives a rotor of the driving motor to rotate, so that the driving motor generates induced current; and (d) an induced current is output to the driving motor through the driving circuit so as to increase the resistance of the tail door when the tail door is switched from the door opening state to the door closing state, and therefore the anti-explosion and anti-falling of the tail door are achieved, and the purpose of protecting the electric tail door is achieved.
