The invention discloses a sidewalk paving mechanism and a using method, the sidewalk paving mechanism comprises a paving machine main body, the paving machine main body comprises a supporting seat, a fixed box body, a paving supporting plate, a guide plate and a fixed bottom plate, the fixed box body is welded and fixed on the upper surface of the supporting seat, and the paving supporting plate is mounted in the fixed box body; the two guide plates are welded and fixed to the two sides of the upper surface of the laying supporting plate correspondingly. By designing the cleaning mechanism, after the paving machine main body is used for paving sidewalk bricks and a large amount of disintegrating slag remains on the surface of a paving supporting plate, a motor is powered on and operates to drive a lead screw to rotate in situ, a sliding head is driven to move on the outer surface of the lead screw when the lead screw rotates in situ, and a moving plate and a cleaning scraper are driven to move when the sliding head moves; and the lower surface of the cleaning scraping plate makes contact with the inner surface of the laying supporting plate to conduct movable dirt scraping and cleaning treatment, and sidewalk bricks can be stably laid again through the laying machine body.
