The environment-friendly decorative material is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 25 to 30 parts of gravel, 15 to 18 parts of additive, 2 to 4 parts of modifier, 15 to 20 parts of volcanic mud, 12 to 15 parts of additive, 2 to 3 parts of accelerant, 3 to 5 parts of thickener and 5 to 21 parts of calcium carbonate. The invention also discloses a preparation process of the environment-friendly decorative material. The preparation process comprises the following preparation steps: S1, weighing ingredients; s2, stirring and mixing; s3, banburying and calendering; s4, foaming and forming; s5, cutting and packaging; a cooling and shaping device used in the preparation process comprises a cooling box, and a plurality of conveying rollers are rotationally arranged in the cooling box. According to the invention, the decorative plate is simultaneously subjected to drying and secondary shaping treatment, so that the waste heat of the decorative plate is effectively recycled, the technical effects of alternate cooling and heating and rolling can be achieved, the internal stress of the decorative plate is released, and excellent product performance is obtained.
