The invention relates to the field of damping components of buildings, and discloses a quick self-resetting damping component which comprises two connecting plates and a shell arranged between the two connecting plates, four rotating devices are arranged in the connecting plates, and transmission rods used for driving the rotating devices to rotate are arranged among the four rotating devices. The top end of the transmission rod penetrates through the shells and is fixedly connected with the upper shell, and two sets of annular springs are fixedly installed between the two shells and arranged on the two sides of the shells. Compared with an existing friction type damping device, the friction effect of the component can be guaranteed within a long time and can be adjusted and controlled at the same time; the two friction wheels are tightly attached to each other under extrusion of the corresponding compression springs, and contact of the two friction wheels can be guaranteed for a long time.
