The invention discloses a deepwater ground anchor connecting device and method, the deepwater ground anchor connecting device comprises a male end connecting piece, a female end connecting piece, a locking assembly and a traction rope, the lower part of the female end connecting piece is provided with a cavity structure, and the locking assembly is arranged in the cavity structure; the female end connecting piece is connected with the upper end of the male end connecting piece in an inserted mode through the cavity structure and fixed through the locking assembly. The male end connecting piece and the female end connecting piece are each provided with a rope penetrating groove allowing the pulling rope to penetrate through. A connector is arranged at the lower end of the male end connecting piece and used for being connected with a ground anchor, and the upper end of the female end connecting piece is connected with a longitudinal cable through a connecting assembly. According to the deepwater ground anchor connecting device and the connecting method, the male end connecting piece, the female end connecting piece and the pulling rope arranged in the male end connecting piece and the female end connecting piece in a penetrating mode are arranged, the male end connecting piece and the female end connecting piece are connected in series through the pulling rope, and deepwater positioning, centering and connecting of the male end connecting piece and the female end connecting piece can be achieved on the water surface through pulling force of the pulling rope; and the operation convenience of the ground anchor connecting device in deep water is improved.
