The invention relates to the field of bridge construction devices, in particular to a walking type foldable hanging basket device which comprises two bearing plates arranged in parallel, a walking system capable of ascending and descending is arranged above each bearing plate, each walking system is connected with a main trussed beam, and the front end of each main trussed beam is connected with a hanging basket. The rear ends of the main trussed beams are connected with rear anchor pressure beams used for being detachably connected to a bridge box beam, and a door connector is arranged between the two main trussed beams. When the hanging basket is installed, the number of parts is small, the construction period is shortened, the time for workers to make early-stage preparation work is shortened, the controllable walking device is arranged at the upper end of the box girder, so that the overall height of the hanging basket is reduced, the gravity center of the hanging basket is further reduced, and the hanging basket is safer and more stable during work.
