The invention discloses a balance block for an engineering machinery counterweight. The balance block consists of a bottom box (1), four filling blocks (2), a filling material layer (3) and a cover plate (4), the bottom box (1) is formed by welding steel plates, and lifting lugs (11), partition plates (12) and positioning column holes (13) are arranged on the bottom box (1); the four filling blocks (2) are steel castings and are mounted in the four accommodating cavities of the bottom box (1) in a splicing manner; the filling material layer (3) is filled in a gap between the bottom box (1) or the partition plate (12) and the filling block (2); and the cover plate (4) is welded at the opening of the bottom box (1), and the filling block (2) and the filling material layer (3) are sealed in the bottom box (1). According to the balance block, the bottom box is mainly filled with the cast steel filling block, the filling material is uniform in density, good in balance degree, not prone to deformation and low in manufacturing cost, the phenomena of vehicle rollover, overturning and the like cannot be caused after the filling material is used on engineering machinery, balance weight can be conveniently and accurately carried out on the engineering machinery, and a cast steel furnace is small in equipment investment, relatively easy to operate and low in technical difficulty.
