The rail collecting vehicle working arm comprises a working arm body and a supporting device, the supporting device is provided with a supporting assembly and a driving assembly, the supporting assembly comprises a supporting wheel unit and two telescopic supporting arms, the two supporting arms are arranged on the two opposite sides of the working arm body respectively, and the driving assembly is arranged on the supporting wheel unit. The two supporting arms are fixedly connected with the working arm body, the supporting wheel unit comprises a connecting frame and a supporting wheel arranged on the connecting frame, the bottom ends of the two supporting arms are connected with the connecting frame, and the driving assembly comprises a first driving unit and a second driving unit. The first driving unit is connected to the two supporting arms and used for driving the two supporting arms to synchronously extend or retract in the vertical direction, and the second driving unit is connected to the connecting frame and used for driving the supporting wheel to horizontally move relative to the connecting frame in the axial direction of the supporting wheel. The device can be conveniently operated on a curved rail.
