The electromagnetic shielding cement mortar is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by mass: 15 to 50 parts of cement, 0.05 to 0.2 part of water-retaining thickening agent, 0 to 2 parts of additive, 0.03 to 0.2 part of coagulant, 50 to 80 parts of electromagnetic shielding filler and 10 to 30 parts of water. The invention also discloses a preparation method of the electromagnetic shielding cement mortar. According to the electromagnetic shielding cement mortar, the raw materials of different types and different granularities are matched, so that the electromagnetic shielding cement mortar not only has excellent mechanical properties and building construction performance, but also has high electromagnetic shielding effectiveness, meanwhile, the electromagnetic shielding wave band is widened, and the electromagnetic shielding cement mortar has a relatively good shielding effect on low-frequency electromagnetic radiation.
