The embodiment of the invention provides a supporting device for jacking a frame bridge in a large height difference area of a railway and a jacking method. The supporting device comprises a base plate, a top steel beam assembly, a middle supporting assembly and a lower supporting assembly which are sequentially connected from top to bottom. The middle supporting assembly comprises at least two first cross beams which are evenly laid in the direction perpendicular to the jacking direction of the frame bridge. The lower supporting assembly comprises at least two second cross beams which are evenly laid in the jacking direction of the frame bridge. The device has the advantages of being convenient to mount and dismount and stable in supporting structure. The jacking frame bridge is suitable for the technical field of jacking frame bridges in large-height-difference areas of railways.
