The invention provides a control method and a control system for a road surface cleaning vehicle. The road surface cleaning vehicle comprises a vehicle, a cleaning device and a battery, the cleaning device and the battery are assembled on the vehicle, the cleaning device is configured to receive power from the battery and clean a road surface, and the control method comprises the following steps that S300, the speed V of the vehicle is measured every speed measurement period delta t; s340, calculating the difference value delta V between the current speed Vn and the previous speed Vn-1, wherein delta V = Vn-Vn-1; if so, executing the step S341; if delta Vlt; if so, executing the step S343; s341, the accelerator pedal travel percentage PA of the vehicle is measured, the power input into the cleaning device is reduced by delta P1, delta P1 = K1 * PA, and K1 is a constant; and S343: measuring a brake pedal travel percentage PB of the vehicle, and increasing the power input to the cleaning device by [delta] P2, where [delta] P2 = K2 * PB, and K2 is a constant.
