The invention discloses special low-cost adhesive mortar for white ALC (autoclaved lightweight concrete) and a preparation method of the special low-cost adhesive mortar. Comprising the following components in parts by weight: 2-20 parts of grey cement, 0-5 parts of white cement, 10-30 parts of slag powder, 5-30 parts of limestone powder, 45-55 parts of sand, 0.1-0.3 part of a water-retaining thickener, 0.5-1.0 part of redispersible latex powder, 0.1-0.2 part of fibers and 20-30 parts of water. The white slag powder is added to replace part of ash cement in a basic formula, so that the whiteness of the mortar can be remarkably improved, and meanwhile, the hydration activity of the slag powder can also improve the compression resistance and bonding strength of the mortar. The limestone powder is added to replace part of ash cement and aggregate in a basic formula, so that the whiteness of the mortar can be improved, the grading of the mortar can be improved, and the cost can be greatly reduced under the condition that the performance index is qualified although the compression resistance and the bonding strength of the mortar can be reduced. The problems that ALC thin-layer masonry mortar products on the market are uneven in performance and high in price are solved.
