The swimming pool robot with the detection function comprises a robot body, a distance detection module, a water entry detection module, a drainage assembly, a control mainboard and a battery pack, and the control mainboard is connected with the distance detection module, the water entry detection module, the drainage assembly and the battery pack. The ranging detection module and the underwater detection module are located on the upper portion of the fuselage. The drainage assembly is arranged in the machine body, and four drainage channels are symmetrically distributed on the upper surface of the machine body front and back. The control mainboard and the battery pack are located in a space.
