The invention relates to a large open caisson pre-sticking mortar cake sinking construction process in a deep and thick mud layer, which comprises the following steps: in the deep and thick mud layer, a waterproof curtain and a sinking-assisting stabilizing pile are used for assisting sinking; in the early stage of sinking, water drainage sinking is adopted to reduce buoyancy, outside-well earth cutting reduces frictional resistance, and the sinking speed is increased; the outer wall of the well is pretreated in a mortar cake pasting mode in the later sinking period, and the concrete friction resistance of the outer wall of the well is increased; and sinking twice by adopting a mode of combining drainage sinking and non-drainage sinking, and carrying out underwater bottom sealing twice after sinking in place. The invention further relates to application of the large open caisson mortar cake pre-pasting sinking construction technology in the deep and thick silt layer, and the construction technology is applied to urban drainage engineering. The construction of the whole open caisson is simple, rapid and safe, the sinking precision meets the design requirement, and the method belongs to the field of urban drainage engineering.
