The invention discloses a construction method of a large-diameter retard-bonded prestressed beam, which belongs to the technical field of building construction and comprises the following steps: presetting corresponding data and preparing required materials; supporting steel bars are arranged according to the construction drawing, and it is ensured that the deviation value between a beam shape control point and the designed position is within the specified range; a template at the end part of the tensioning end is subjected to drilling treatment according to the position of a preformed hole, a cavity mold of the tensioning end is placed, steel strands are bundled, and bundling of the steel strands is arranged in a strip shape; a PE sheath is arranged on the outer side of a cluster of the retard-bonded steel strands in a sleeving mode to prepare retard-bonded prestressed tendons, and the retard-bonded prestressed tendons are laid in a straight mode; cleaning the surface layer part of the retard-bonded prestressed tendon at the tensioning end, brushing a retarder after cleaning is completed, then installing an anchor ring and a clamping piece, and finally tensioning the prestressed tendon through a jack until the design requirement is met; and cutting redundant steel strands, and finally sealing with fine aggregate concrete. The construction efficiency is improved, and the construction quality is ensured.
