The invention relates to an opening and closing device (2) comprising a flap (24) which is rotatably fastened to a hinge arm and an actuator (72) for actuating the flap (24), the actuator (72) being coupled to a rotatable main shaft (62), the main shaft is coupled with a shutter actuating element (12) such that upon rotation of the main shaft (62), the shutter actuating element performs translational and rotational movements to lock and move the shutter (24).
