The invention discloses betel nut shell fiber reinforced cement mortar and a preparation method thereof. The method comprises the following steps: uniformly stirring cement, sand and water according to a mass ratio of 1: 2: 0.35 to form cement mortar, doping the treated betel nut shell fibers into the mortar according to 0.25-1% of the volume of the mortar, and mechanically stirring until the fibers are uniformly distributed. Then injecting into a mold for curing and molding, thoroughly wrapping all mortar samples in wet cloth and polyethylene, curing for 24 hours under the indoor conditions that the relative humidity is 90 +/-5% and the temperature is 20 +/-3 DEG C, and demolding. And curing for 7, 14 and 28 days under a pond water maintenance condition (20 +/-3 DEG C). The betel nut shell fiber reinforced cement mortar is prepared.
