The invention relates to a lock catch steel pipe pile cofferdam guide hole construction method which comprises the following steps: firstly, constructing two pile holes at an interval, respectively arranging wall protection steel casings in the two pile holes, and then constructing a pile hole engaged with the two pile holes between the two spaced pile holes; and the construction process is circulated, and meanwhile, the lock hole steel pipe piles are inserted into the completed pile holes until all the steel pipe piles of the lock catch steel pipe pile cofferdam are inserted and driven. The retaining wall steel casing can support the pile hole, effectively prevents hole collapse caused by insufficient compactness of backfilled clay during hole guiding, can guide excavation of the secant pile hole, and ensures the perpendicularity of the pile hole.
