A lock catch steel pipe pile cofferdam structure is in a structural form of a double-spliced H700 * 300 profile steel enclosing purlin, a three-spliced H700 * 300 profile steel enclosing purlin and an inner support, and phi 200 * 10 mm steel pipes and I20b I-shaped steel are arranged between steel pipe piles to form a water stop structure. The construction method of the lock catch steel pipe pile cofferdam structure comprises the following steps that construction preparation is conducted; blasting construction of an underwater foundation pit of the main tower; guide hole construction; inserting and driving steel pipe piles; grouting the base; mounting an inner support; excavating a foundation pit; lock catch water leakage treatment; sealing the bottom of the cofferdam, and erecting a steel casing and a steel pipe pile; recharging and removing the inclined strut; erecting a steel platform and a construction pile foundation; water pumping, diagonal bracing recovery and bearing platform construction; foundation pit edge protection and upper and lower channel arrangement; and the lock catch steel pipe pile cofferdam is dismantled. The structure performance is safe and reliable, and the safety risk is low; the construction difficulty and cost can be reduced, and the working efficiency is improved.
