The invention relates to a turnout for a rubber wheel tramcar. The turnout is formed by combining a rubber wheel track and a guide rail track in a crossed mode. A guide rail track is embedded in the rubber wheel track, and the rubber wheel track and the guide rail track are parallel to each other and keep a fixed interval to form a rubber wheel tramcar track; the rubber wheel tramcar track is divided into two strands from one strand so as to form a turnout; the rubber wheel track comprises a rubber wheel track and a guide rail; the rubber wheel rails and the guide rails are arranged in pairs, are parallel to each other and keep fixed track gauges so as to form respective tracks; the turnout is provided with a switch rail after a fixed interval between a rubber wheel rail and a guide rail in the range of the switch is canceled; and the front section of the switch rail is connected with conversion equipment. The device is simple and reasonable in structural design, safe passing of the rubber wheel tramcar can be met, the rubber wheels make contact with the corresponding rails to bear locomotives and vehicles, and the steel wheel rails make contact with the guide rails to achieve the functions of running guiding or urgent danger avoiding and the like of the locomotives and the vehicles in a turnout zone.
