The invention relates to a self-floating water area garbage automatic collecting device which comprises a collecting barrel, a supporting column, a screen, a frame, a submersible pump, a buoy and a balance weight, the frame is an inverted isosceles trapezoid prismatic table frame, the collecting barrel is installed at the inner center position of the frame through the supporting column, and the screen is installed at the bottom of the collecting barrel. The four corners of the top end of the frame are vertically and fixedly provided with the mounting rods, the buoys are arranged in the buoy clips, the buoys are connected with bolts of the mounting rods through the buoy clips so that the buoys can be fixed to the four corners of the upper portion of the frame, and the submersible pump is connected with the bottom of the collecting barrel through a tee joint and fixed to the frame. And the bottom of the frame corresponding to the collecting barrel is provided with a counterweight through a lead screw.
