The invention relates to the technical field of scaffolds, and particularly discloses an assembly type scaffold and an assembly type scaffold construction method.The assembly type scaffold comprises an assembly mechanism and a locking mechanism, the assembly mechanism comprises a bottom plate, steel pipes arranged on the bottom plate and splicing assemblies used for connecting the steel pipes, and the splicing assemblies are used for connecting the steel pipes; comprising a splicing head, a first driving assembly arranged in the splicing head, a first locking assembly connected with the first driving assembly, and a second locking assembly installed on a steel pipe, wherein the first driving assembly drives the first locking assembly to lock the steel pipe and is matched with a second locking assembly to achieve double locking of the steel pipe; and the stopping mechanism comprises a stopping assembly used for limiting the first driving assembly and a second driving assembly used for unlocking the stopping assembly and the second locking assembly, the stopping assembly is driven by the second driving assembly to move, and meanwhile locking of the second locking assembly is relieved.
