The invention provides a novel throttle valve device on a door closer, relates to the technical field of door closers, and aims to solve the problem that linear adjustment of door closing time cannot be achieved due to the fact that an existing door closer is affected by viscosity change of hydraulic oil. The throttle valve is arranged at the top of the piston cylinder and further comprises a throttle valve gland, a throttle valve seat, a throttle valve sleeve and a throttle valve rod, the throttle valve seat is installed on the piston cylinder through the throttle valve gland, the throttle valve rod is meshed with the throttle valve seat through threads, and the throttle valve sleeve is sleeved with the throttle valve rod. The throttle valve device is adopted, and when the viscosity of hydraulic oil changes due to large temperature changes in winter and summer, the gap between the throttle valve rod and the one-way valve body can be linearly increased or decreased through adjustment of the throttle valve device.
