The invention discloses an electric push rod driven upturning type hydrodynamic anti-flooding device and a using method thereof, and the device comprises a mounting mechanism which is L-shaped; one end of the flood-proof baffle is connected with the corner of the mounting mechanism; one end of the flood-proof baffle is connected with a supporting mechanism, the flood-proof baffle is connected with the installation mechanism through the supporting mechanism, electric push rods are installed on the two sides of the installation mechanism, the output ends of the electric push rods are connected with a connecting rod type traction mechanism, and one end of the connecting rod type traction mechanism is connected with the flood-proof baffle. A connecting rod type limiting mechanism is connected between the flood-proof baffle and the mounting mechanism and used for supporting the flood-proof baffle. The arrangement mode that the flood-proof baffle and the electric push rod are matched is utilized, the first traction connecting rod can drive the second traction connecting rod to rotate clockwise till the flood-proof baffle reaches a completely vertical state, the electric push rod serves as a power source, the opening and closing speed is higher, and the response is faster.
