The invention provides an automatic emergency steering control system and method for an underground carry-scraper, and the system comprises an engine controller which is used for collecting a rotating speed signal of an engine and transmitting the rotating speed signal to a controller assembly; the rotating speed sensor is used for detecting a vehicle speed signal and transmitting the vehicle speed signal to the controller assembly, and the rotating speed sensor is arranged on a rotating shaft of the carry-scraper; the inertial sensor is used for detecting an acceleration signal and a direction signal and transmitting the acceleration signal and the direction signal to the controller assembly, and the controller assembly is arranged on a vehicle body of the carry-scraper; the emergency steering pump unit is used for achieving steering of the carry-scraper, and when the rotating speed signal is smaller than the set value and the vehicle speed signal is larger than the set value, the controller assembly sends a starting signal to the emergency steering pump unit. Emergency steering control can be automatically started, and the purpose of avoiding wall collision accidents through emergency steering is achieved.
