The invention discloses a construction method of a large-span steel beam roof suspended ceiling conversion layer. The construction method comprises the following construction steps that S1, the length of a vertical rod of a steel structure conversion layer is determined according to the set elevation of a steel structure roof steel beam and the elevation of a decorative suspended ceiling; s2, reserving a pipeline space; s3, connecting plates are arranged on the lower sides of flange plates of the steel structure roof main steel beams and connected with the steel beams through surrounding welding; s4, vertical rods are arranged, and inclined rods are arranged between the vertical rods for fixed connection; s5, a grid steel frame structure is fixedly arranged at the bottom of the vertical rod; s6, the two ends of the supporting beams in the horizontal direction of the main steel beams are fixed to the structural beams through supporting plates; and S7, fixing plates are welded to an upper flange plate and a lower flange plate of the steel structure roof main steel beam, diagonal draw bars are arranged, one ends of the diagonal draw bars are welded to the grid steel frame structure, the other ends of the diagonal draw bars are welded to the fixing plates, and after welding is completed, welding slag is removed, and antirust paint is brushed. The problems that a conventional suspended ceiling conversion layer construction method is poor in stability, low in safety and large in limitation are solved.
