The fence comprises a fence body arranged around the cable working well, and an attitude sensor, a monitor and a controller are installed on the fence body; the attitude sensor is used for detecting displacement, vibration and inclination states of the fence body and transmitting data to the controller; and the monitor captures a field picture around the cable working well and transmits the field picture to the controller. According to the cable working well protection device, the cable working well can be protected in real time, and personnel and foreign objects are prevented from falling into the working well to cause potential safety hazards.
