The invention relates to a vehicle door handle assembly (1) comprising a bracket and an extension mechanism (5) configured to move a handle grip (3) between a flush position and an extended position, said extension mechanism (5) comprising at least one lever (7, 9), in particular a front lever (7), a rear lever (9); the invention relates to a handle (1) comprising a support (2), a recess on the support, a contact surface (23) on at least one lever (7, 9), and a blocking lever (15) placed between said recess and said contact surface (23), the blocking lever (15) being configured to move from a first position when the handle (3) is flush to a second position when the handle (3) is extended, in which second position the blocking lever (15) presses against the recess on the support and against the contact surface (23), in its first position, the blocking rod (15) is tilted such that it is no longer pressed by the recess or by the contact surface (23), allowing the rotation of the at least one rod (7, 9).
