The invention provides a quick gate closing brake device which comprises a double-shaft extension motor and a hydraulic brake mechanism, and an output shaft on one side of the double-shaft extension motor is connected with a winding drum. The hydraulic braking mechanism comprises an oil tank, a first oil pipe, an electromagnetic valve and a hydraulic pump, hydraulic oil is arranged in the oil tank, the first oil pipe is connected to the oil tank to form a hydraulic loop, the electromagnetic valve is closed when powered on and opened when powered off, and the electromagnetic valve is arranged at an outlet of the oil tank; a transmission shaft of the hydraulic pump is connected with an output shaft on one side of the double-shaft-extension motor, the throttling valve is arranged on the hydraulic loop, and an auxiliary braking mechanism is further arranged. The quick gate closing and braking device is simple in structure, quick in response and high in reliability, and the gate can be used in any working state.
