The invention discloses a suspension tunnel with inhaul cables and a truss steel structure and a construction method thereof.The suspension tunnel comprises pipe joints, the inhaul cables, the truss steel structure, piles, bridge piers and inhaul cable piers, the bridge piers and the inhaul cable piers each comprise a pile connector, and the tops of the piles are located in the pile connectors; the construction method comprises the following main construction steps that (1) prefabrication of tunnel pipe joints, truss steel structures, piles, bridge piers and inhaul cable piers is completed; (2) carrying out temporary positioning after the piers float and sink in place; (3) pile construction is completed in the pile connector; (4) fixedly connecting the piles and the pile connectors into a whole; (5) construction of the inhaul cable pier is completed through the construction method the same as that of the pier; the construction method is particularly suitable for construction application scenes of two strait channels of the Bohai Sea and the Jones in China, the construction cost is low, the period is short, and the construction method is safe and reliable.
