The invention relates to a sound barrier with sound insulation and efficiency improvement functions. The sound barrier comprises a sound insulation unit, a sound absorption unit and a supporting frame. The sound insulation unit has light transmission and is provided with a first surface facing a noise source and a second surface opposite to the first surface; the supporting frame is arranged on the periphery of the sound insulation unit, and the sound absorption unit is fixed to the edge area of the first surface of the sound insulation unit in a protruding mode through the supporting frame and shields at least part of the area of the supporting frame. The supporting frame is used for arranging the sound absorption unit, the sound absorption unit shields at least one part of area of the supporting frame, light transmission is not affected, the stability of the structure can be guaranteed, meanwhile, the sound absorption unit can capture reflected sound waves of the sound insulation unit, the supporting frame is partially shielded, the reflection area of the sound waves is reduced, the noise reduction effect is further achieved, and the noise reduction effect is improved. And the sound barrier can meet the use requirements of light transmission, noise reduction, efficiency improvement and stable structure at the same time.
