The invention discloses a protection structure for single pile scouring of a socketed pile type tidal current energy water turbine foundation, which comprises a sleeve, an elliptical flow baffle, a first square flow baffle and a second square flow baffle, and is characterized in that the sleeve is arranged outside a pile foundation in a sleeving manner; the oval flow baffle is fixed outside the sleeve, and the oval flow baffle is a circular truncated cone with a circular top and an oval bottom. According to the protection structure for scouring the single pile of the socketed pile type tidal current energy water turbine foundation, by arranging the oval flow baffles, on one hand, direct impact of undercurrent in front of the pile on a bottom seabed is weakened through buffering of the inclined faces of the oval flow baffles, and the scouring effect of water flow on soil around the pile is weakened; the normal over-current capability is not influenced; and water flow in front of the pile is dispersed through the two square flow baffles, direct impact of the water flow on the pile foundation is reduced, and violent digging and brushing of horseshoe vortexes formed by underwater water flow in front of the pile on a bottom seabed are dispersed.
